Certified Notary Signing Agent. Successfully completed more than 175 signing loan documents last year for closing as an authorized signing agent for large title companies, such as Service Link, LSI Title and First American Title Co. 

CA State Laws Compliance. Since January 1, 2008, all new/renewing California notaries are fingerprinted and must undergo a background check by the Federal Bureau of Investigation as well as the California Department of Justice prior to obtaining their commissions. (California Government Code section 8201.1)

My commission was issued on January 24, 2012 and expires on January 23, 2016, which means I am fully compliant with any background screenings you might require as part of your company's GLBA Compliance plan. I am also a Certified and Background Screened Signing Agent through the National Notary Association

Bond and Insurance: I carry the state mandated $15,000 notary bond (California Government Code section 8212).  
Notary Public Errors and Omissions Policy: I also carry $100,000 of Notary Public E&O Insurance.

GLB Compliance: The Gramm–Leach–Bliley Act (GLB), also known as the Financial Services Modernization Act of 1999 went into effect on July 1, 2001.  GLB compliance is mandatory; whether a financial institution discloses nonpublic information or not, there must be a policy in place to protect the information from foreseeable threats in security and data integrity.

ID REQUIREMENTS FOR NOTARY

Acceptable Forms of Identification:

  • California Driver's License

  • California Identification Card

  • Canada Driver's License

  • Mexico Driver's license

  • US Passport

  • US Military ID Card

  • Inmate ID Card

  • Other State Driver's License

  • Other State Identification card

  • Foreign Passports stamped by USCIS

If no such ID is available and cannot be reasonably obtained, the signer may have TWO CREDIBLE WITNESSES WITH VALID IDENTIFICATION PRESENT who know you and can attest to who you are UNDER OATH.
